Tectonic Annual Events

Tectonic celebrates diversity and inclusion through vibrant nightlife experiences. Our calendar features events that draw inspiration from queer history and our own creative spirit.

January

• New Year's Day Brunch Drag Extravaganza* (January 1): Celebrate the start of the year with a dazzling Drag show featuring bottomless mimosas and delicious brunch bites.

• Resolution Revolution Dance Party (first Saturday): Ring in the year with a high-energy dance party featuring guest DJs, themed cocktails, and a focus on self-love and empowerment.

February

• Black History Month Spotlight (month-long): Celebrate Black excellence through special DJ sets and art installations featuring Black LGBTQIA2S+ artists.

• Love is Love Valentine’s Day Party (February 14): Celebrate love in all its forms with a themed party featuring themed drinks, LGBTQIA2S+ love stories, and a dance party celebrating all kinds of love.

March

• Spring Fling Dance Party (third Saturday): Welcome the warmer weather with a vibrant dance party featuring tropical-themed cocktails, DJs, and body-positive vibes.

• Transgender Visibility Week Showcase (last week of March): Amplify trans voices and artistic expression through a week-long series of events including performances, film screenings, and art exhibitions by trans artists.

April

• Sensory Awareness Silent Dance Party (first Saturday): Join us for a special night celebrating our community members who experience things a little differently. A night of dancing with volume-controlled headphones and low lighting, as well as a menu of delicious mocktails.

• Lesbian Visibility Day Dance Party (April 26): Pulse-pounding beats, dazzling lights, and a vibrant community ready to celebrate the incredible diversity and fierceness of our lesbian sisters. Join us for a night of pure joy, unapologetic self-expression, and the electric power of belonging.

May

• Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration (month-long): Honor diverse Asian and Pacific Islander cultures through music, dance, and a celebration of LGBTQIA2S+ identities within these communities.

• Pride Block Party* (Memorial Day Weekend): Kick off Pride Month with a vibrant block party featuring live performances, local vendors, food trucks, and DJs spinning LGBTQIA2S+ anthems.

June

• Pride After-Party (month-long): Keep the celebration going with an electrifying after-party featuring DJs, themed cocktails, and a celebratory atmosphere.

• Stonewall Anniversary Commemoration (June 28): Honor the history of the Stonewall Riots and the fight for LGBTQIA2S+ rights through educational talks, drag performances, and a moment of reflection.

• Where We Came From: second Friday, a community drag show featuring our most celebrated Drag performers.

• Where We’re Going: fourth Friday, community drag show featuring up-and-coming Drag performers.

July

• Drag Me To Hell Karaoke (first Thursday): Come sing or squawk your favorite tunes while our special guest comedy queens work it out to accompany you!

• Summer Splash Foam Party* (second Saturday): Beat the heat with a foam party featuring DJs, refreshing cocktails, and a fun-filled atmosphere.

August

• Drag Comedy Showcase (third Friday): Enjoy an evening of laughter and entertainment with a comedy showcase featuring talented drag performers.

September

• Leather Pride Celebration (second Saturday): Embrace the leather community and its rich history with a social gathering, leather fashion showcase, and a dance party featuring leather-themed music.

October

• Halloween Horror Show (month-long), culminating in Halloween Party on October 31: Tectonic transforms into a spooky haven for the Halloween season with a costume contest, terrifying decorations, themed cocktails, and haunting performances.

• National Coming Out Day Party (October 11): Celebrate the courage and resilience of LGBTQIA2S+ individuals with a vibrant party featuring themed decorations, DJs, and an open microphone for personal stories.

• Spooky Drag Extravaganza* (last Saturday): Celebrate Halloween with a drag show featuring spooky costumes, dramatic performances, and a thrilling atmosphere.

November

• Trans Parent Night (first Sunday): Celebrate the love between a transgender parent and their (adult) kids and cisgender parents and their (adult) trans kids. A special night of dancing celebrating the unique and wonderful bonds of family, whether born or found!

• The Feast of Orphans and Friendsgiving Karaoke Night (Thanksgiving): Join us for the only day of the year we open early (4 pm) to feed members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community who are looking for a place to spend the holiday and those who are actively decolonizing their mindset. Afterwards, belt out your favorite tunes with friends and family at a fun-filled karaoke night celebrating the spirit of thankfulness.

December

• World AIDS Day Red Ribbon Ball* (December 1): Raise awareness and support for HIV/AIDS research and prevention with a formal ball featuring red ribbon decorations, elegant attire, and a silent auction.

• Krampusnacht Party (December 6): Celebrate the naughty side of the holiday season the best way we know how: with humor, creativity, and mischief!

• New Year's Eve Bash* (December 31): Ring in the New Year with a dazzling countdown celebration featuring themed cocktails and a festive atmosphere.
